From the upper bedroom, one can look out and see the Colorado River and Granby Dam as shown below (with lots of snow).

The top of the spillway is to the up a bit to the right center (see
image below). As of the end of February, the winter of 2013-2014
is adding up to be a really wet one. If the damp pattern continues, Lake Granby has a good chance of spilling over this year.
There are trails on the 70 acres to the far back fence line, beyond the second hill in the distance.

line. Winding at the bottom of the valley is The Colorado River
reforming and becoming an amazing trout stream .... which you pleasantly drive along to get to the ranch's front gate.

Road 627 connects with Highway 34 just below Lake Granby, about 5 miles
north of the turn off from Highway 40 in the town of Granby.
Rocky Mountain National Park extends very far to the north. Grand Lake is a little above the top center of the map.
Winter Park skiing is 40 minutes to the south. Boulder is far to the east. Denver is to the southeast (two hours away by car).

of a marina that is just two miles away from the ranch. The marina has a
restaurant. There is also a year-round Italian restaurant nearby.
Shopping in Granby for necessities, more restaurants and beginner to intermediate skiing is just 15 minutes away.

Grand Elk Marina. There are also covered boat slips (that are usually
full). A paved boat ramp in the Arapaho National Recreation Area is
