from Mirror Lake. Lone Eagle is a 11,920 foot spire at
the end of a ridge that rises another thousand feet to
the Continental Divide where there are small glaciers.
Fair Glacier and Peak Glacier are in the left and right
backdrop corners of Lone Eagle Peak.

The snow was two feet deep in this area. We carefully
walked the length of Mirror Lake where the snow was
only a few inches deep.
