The vertical log is a full-log mullion; it extends all the way to the outside.
This is one of the many upgrades that you can find in this home. It is quite a bit more sophisticated than simply having horizontal
rows of logs and cutting out your window and door openings with a chain saw. All of the window and door openings in this home
have this special feature. Notice how the logs have been skip-peeled and finished to bring out their full character.
