Shorewood Park is two meadows in the
back of the Shorewood area of homes, half a mile from Grand Lake
Village. The west side of the park
almost borders 500 acres or Grand Lake Recreation District land.

Directions for getting here. The first
mile of Hwy. 34 south of Grand Lake gradually ramps upward.
At the top of the "ramp", you turn to the west (away from Shadow
Mountain Lake) into the Shorewood area.
It's main road loops back to the turnoff. The highest and farthest
back road in the NW corner will take you
directly to the "Sherwood Forest and Dog Park" shown in the photos
above. It is not far from Hwy. 34,
yet on the far side of a ridge and therefore quiet and secluded
feeling.
