Here one passes directly by the Golf Course. It is a short side trip from here to visit the Sly Fox Restaurant and Lounge.
The trail signs point it out as being The Lodge. Scroll down to see a barren section and then we will head to the Colorado River.
This area is still being improved. With 3 feet of snow on it, it's gorgeous as a cross-country ski trail.
The Recreation District has spent a lot of time and money recently on planting hundreds of large trees
on the nearby 18 hole golf course. Trail work has just recently been completed on opening up the 500 acres.
The Colorado River is about one mile from here. One can take either the left or right hand routes directly ahead.
