Features and Inspiration

For groups as large as 20, the bedrooms with on-suite and off-suite baths are set up to host different families at the same time while affording each their privacy.
One side of the hallway can be the primary family side and the guest family can enjoy the private bedroom suite and gathering space on the other side.

Instead of the antler-driven mountain lodge look, the owners were inspired by the east coast ocean front home with brighter, lighter finishes.
The floors of walnut are oriented to point toward the lake. When the window wall is open, this orientation gives the feel of endless space out towards the views.

This look was inspired by the Mondrian Hotel on South Beach in Florida. It's our mountain version of having an "infinity pool".

The custom dining table was built extra tall for its tall owner. With the upholstered window seating, the table can comfortably seat 13 people.
The breakfast bar is designed for less formal dining at the soapstone counter. Ask which furnishings in particular are included at the asking price.

The Wolf stove, farmer house sink, double dishwashers, ice maker, pantry and cabinet storage for large pots and pans, and surround sound wiring
are all designed for entertaining large groups. The natural stone, large wood burning fireplace gives warmth and light during long winter nights.
Many of the bathroom sinks are constructed out of furniture lending a unique built in look.
The 12 foot tall entry doors were custom made in Arizona out of special wood and with dowel reinforcement so they would not warp.

The windows are UV-coated, high end Marvin with true divided lights and designer window coverings.

The whole home has in-floor heat and humidity. There is a wine cellar with herringbone pattern brick floor.

An exercise room with a rubberized gym floor is large enough for yoga with friends.

The large garage doors protect three cars or two cars plus a boat.

The home was constructed by American West Homes, the builders who have done much of the construction at Devils Thumb Ranch.
The stone and the siding and look of the exterior is inspired by buildings recently built at Devils Thumb.

Owners and guests go on hikes from their front door to the lake, the fishing canal, and beyond to the National Park, and through the National Forest
and as far as Lake Granby via a hardly known yet amazing portion of the Colorado River Trail.
