Home is set in a wildlife and bird sanctuary. The wild and unspoiled lake shore has natural grasses, reeds and cattails.
The views extend far up the lake and deep into Rocky Mountain National Park.
A boat dock is a very short walk away for the 7 lakefront home sites at The Shores of Shadow Mountain Lake.
Also close by is the fishing canal and 34 acres of open space for homeowners in The Shores.
National Park trails and the Colorado River are a bit further away. Scroll down for a map of the area.

National Recreation Area land is nearby.  (In the Forest Service's own words)
"Welcome to the Arapaho National Recreation Area (ANRA) - a 35,000 acre scenic water wonderland in the upper reaches of the Colorado River Valley.
The ANRA was established by Congress in 1978 and contains five major reservoirs: Lake Granby, Shadow Mountain Lake, Monarch Lake,
Willow Creek Reservoir and Meadow Creek Reservoir. Grand Lake, adjacent to the ANRA, with its deep, clear blue waters, is the largest natural lake in Colorado.
Together, the lakes and reservoirs are often referred to as the "Great Lakes of Colorado."
"The ANRA is a world-class place to boat, camp, hike, fish, ice fish, snowmobile, view wildlife, horseback ride and hold events."

If you are not lucky enough to dwell in the home shown here, you can still enjoy the photos
and look for aesthetic and intelligent design ideas to employ in your own dream home.
We have a wide selection of virgin land, including Lot 7 to the east of the home (left as shown below from the lakeside).
